Throughout her illustrious career, Georgina has championed the cause of bridging the divide between hospitals and community health initiatives. Her invaluable contributions at prestigious academic medical centers across the Southeast, such as Duke Health and the Medical University of South Carolina, have been instrumental in addressing social determinants of health. In 2018, she ventured into the tech space, joining Unite Us to lead the nation's first coordinated care network in North Carolina, NCCARE360, and expanding it to 11 states across the Southeast, impacting millions of lives. With over 14 years of experience, Georgina leverages human-centered design, innovation, and community mobilization to drive positive outcomes in health and social care. In her last role, as the Head of Community Mobilization at IMPaCT Care, she was at the forefront of a revolutionary transformation in the healthcare workforce, harnessing the power of community health workers and technology.
